Both matter to me. But if there were no families, there wouldn't be a country. In Key of Liberty, General Mussels told us about this one guy who chose to let his sons starve instead of taking his name of the Declaration of Independence. He thought that country is more important than family.
To me, family is most important. We want to protect our family. I know my dad would do anything to protect our family. So there is different opinions about this, but to me, family is most important.

It is a delicate balance between family and country. I would agree that family is most important and that leads one to action for country. In the Book of Mormon, Captain Moroni fought for the freedom of the Nephite people to “support their lands, and their houses, and their wives, and their children, that they might preserve them from the hands of their enemies; and also that they might preserve their rights and their privileges, yea, and also their liberty, that they might worship God according to their desires.”
I agree that family is more important. I know my dad would do anything for my family.
